Raised in Detroit, MI, Dr Frencher graduated from University of Michigan, Albert Einstein College of Medicine obtaining his MPH in health administration and policy from the Mailman School at Columbia University and residency at Yale while completing Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Fellowship at UCLA. He is currently an Associate Professor in Department of Urology at UCLA, Medical Director for Surgical Outcomes and Quality, Chair, Perioperative Services and Chief of Urology at Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Health.
He is father, husband, surgeon activist, health services researcher, physician executive, fitness enthusiast, and digital health innovator with a focus on vulnerable and underserved populations with the goal of ameliorating healthcare inequities and health disparities. To serve and expand access to specialty care, he founded HubMD, a virtual medical group that provides specialty care as well as being Chief Medical Officer of WISE healthcare, a startup company focused on and experience with successfully reimagining care delivery, implementing virtual care and redesigning clinical practice among safety net providers and healthcare systems. |
