Sin is the Director of Operations at Ziering Medical and is currently responsible for several clinics across the United States. He is responsible for resource allocation, training, and organization changes. Prior to his current role, he held various positions at Kaiser Permanente, culminating as Assistant Director for the Department of Anesthesia where he managed 100+ MD’s and staff members to ensure appropriate staffing across 30+ departments.He served in the United States Air Force (USAF) with assignments at Tyndall AFB, FL and Edwards AFB, CA.
During his time in the Air Force, he served as an EMT supervisor, combat medic, and an Airman Leadership School instructor. Sin deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM IX-X where he implemented malnutrition programs within Paktya Province, Afghanistan, reducing the malnutrition rate by 30% during the first month of implementation; tracked $250K worth of medical and computer equipment and created new tracking policies, which led to zero loss; and was recognized as top employee in 2011 at HQ level. While stationed at Edwards, AFB as an Assistant Manager and Lead Instructor, Sin educated 900+ middle managers on human relation skills, problem-solving skills, public speaking, interpersonal relationships skills and change management. He was recognized as the top middle manager for 2013 and 2014 at HQ level. A graduate of Bellevue University with a BS in Healthcare Management, Sin would go onto complete is MBA at The Paul Merage School of Business at UC Irvine and is on track to receive a Doctorate in Education with a concentration in Organizational Change and Leadership from the Rossier School of Education at USC in 2021. |
