Leslie brings over 25 years of employee benefits experience to her clients with a vast background of experience in both consulting and insurance. She has worked with various large regional and national consulting firms in Southern California and is responsible for managing the firm's important relationships. Leslie also worked on the development of PacifiCare of California’s inland Empire territory, which she grew significantly during her tenure there. Her expertise enables her to work with clients of all sizes to find unique, creative solutions.
Her current role as a consultant with Woodruff Sawyer is manyfold. She is responsible for maintaining a book of business, mentoring new producers, managing carrier, vendor partnerships, creating and delivering retention strategies, sales and retention metrics and much more. Leslie’s current focus is working with clients to deal with the impacts of Health Care reform, educate them on the benefits of self-funding and the changing provider delivery market. She is actively creating innovative proprietary products for Woodruff Sawyer to expand options for clients. She is committed to employee education and working to find new ways to communicate to the multi-generational workforce. Whew!
Leslie is an active member of numerous advisory councils and product development committees for all of the major insurance carriers.
Leslie is a past President of the Board for the House of Ruth and is very involved with Children's Fund, Assistance League and the American Heart Association. She has a BS in Organizational Development from the University of San Francisco, Professional in Human Resources (PHR) designation and a speaker at industry events.
Outside of Leslie’s professional life, she has a husband who adores her, four amazing adult sons/young men, she makes a spectacular cheesecake, enjoys good wine, and lives in San Clemente, CA near the Pacific Ocean.
