Area of Expertise: Empathy & Storytelling, Ideation & Innovation Kim currently serves as Executive Vice President of SEIU Local 2015, a statewide union that represents over 400,000 workers who provide long term care services to seniors and people with disabilities. Her goal has always been to identify ways the union can work best to empower and develop members and staff around pathways to their own leadership. Kim’s organizational design and development experience includes Rockwood model leadership training, Lencioni and Beckhard modalities, the Co-active Coaching program, Popular Education based facilitation training, and process and framework elements for strategic planning. Kim serves on the Board of the California Long Term Care Education Center - the largest provider of training for long-term care workers in California and a national leader in developing and providing training that has demonstrated outcomes on increasing the delivery of quality care and healthcare cost savings. She also serves on the Board of the Healthcare Career Advancement Program (H-CAP), a national labor management organization that promotes innovation and quality in healthcare education. |
