Area of Expertise: Empathy & Storytelling, Prototyping, Testing & Iteration Joanne is currently serving as Director of Asset Management for Greystar, one of the largest developers of rental housing in the country. With a diverse background that includes more than 12 years of experience working in the conventional, tax credit and senior housing sectors, Joanne has cultivated a broad network of contacts across many industries. Her expertise includes: acquisitions, dispositions, development, operator transitions, capital expansions and partnership exit strategies. Prior to joining Greystar, Joanne held positions with Jamboree Housing, Highridge Costa Housing Partners, and Healthpeak (f/k/a HCP, Inc.). Joanne also spent several years in the retail banking sector with experience in branch operations, corporate reporting, investor relations and incentive compensation programs with the likes of Wells Fargo Bank, US Bank and Washington Mutual Bank (now JP Morgan Chase). She is an active member of CREW OC (Commercial Women in Real Estate), the Center for Real Estate Excellence Alumni group at UC Irvine, and sits on the advisory board for UC Riverside’s Design Thinking extension program. Joanne earned a BA in Political Science UC Irvine, and an MBA with an emphasis in Finance from the Paul Merage School of Business (UC Irvine). |
