Area of Expertise: Introduction to Design Thinking, Ideation & Innovation Joanne is responsible for IBM’s Strategic Partnership with Workday as well as the Global Operations of IBM Strategic Partnerships. The Strategic Partnerships team is focused on the execution of IBM’s strategy with IBM’s most important partnerships including Apple, Cisco, Microsoft, Salesforce, Samsung, SAP, and Workday. Joanne brings the IBM brand and geography teams together to execute the strategic partnerships’ value proposition with a focus on community building and go-to-market enablement. She is a Director in the IBM Corporation based out of the Costa Mesa, California office. During her 26 years at IBM, Joanne has performed various financial and operational leadership roles where she has led initiatives to maximize business performance, improve operational discipline, create new commercial/pricing models and improve employee engagement. Having lived in Europe for 5 years, Joanne has experience working in several European markets. In her previous position, Joanne was the COO for the Apple Partnership, responsible for creating the business surrounding the 100+ iOS applications that were developed as part of the Apple + IBM partnership. Prior to that, Joanne was the US Distribution Sector GBS Strategy and Operations Executive, responsible for the overall operational performance of a $1.6B business. Joanne is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed by the state of California. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Joanne is the Bishop’s Warden for St. John’s Episcopal Church in Rancho Santa Margarita, California and enjoys hiking and weight-lifting. Joanne is married and has two sons, age 24 and 21. |
