Your Customers -- Their Journey Empathy & Storytelling |
Christopher Membribes is a performance-driven educator who is in the business of changing lives. In 2008, Christopher graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a B.A. in Liberal Studies (Elementary Education) and English. Seeking to become the first in his immigrant family to become a lawyer, Membribes embarked on a three year journey to study law at Loyola University New Orleans. Throughout law school, Christopher could not hide his love for teaching and technology. As a result he enrolled in a diverse range of education, technology, and intellectual property law electives. Upon graduating he interned at the Disability Rights Legal Center serving as a volunteer law clerk focusing on special education law and community outreach.
Looking to make a systemic difference in his community, Membribes and several other lawyers, business professionals, and marketing leaders formed IE Consulting Group LLC, a national business consulting firm dedicated to helping small business owners thrive. Implementing cost-cutting initiatives, strategic marketing campaigns, and full-scale web development projects the firm helped small business owners increase efficiency, growth, and profit margins. Despite developing a successful business, Membribes aimed to improve lives on a grander level -- as an educator. He enrolled in and graduated with honors from the University of the Pacific with a Masters degree in Curriculum Development and Instruction. For the past six years, Membribes has prepared his students to consistently lead the district in academic performance benchmarks and state assessments. Rather than follow an antiquated one-size fits all approach to teaching, Membribes employs Design Thinking daily in his classroom to reach all of his students. He recognizes the importance of connection, flexibility, and data analytics in educating his students. Ultimately, Christopher currently combines his dynamic teaching persona with his business and legal experience to not only relate to but empathize with his students on their journey to becoming future change agents in their communities. |
